Bang Launch Pioneering Recognition and Reward Scheme
The UK's first independent tenant loyalty card has been launched by Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH) and Bang Marketing.
Bang devised the marketing strategy and campaign for the KNH Excel Discount Card, which is the first locally managed loyalty scheme in the country.
Bang's marketing strategy helped KNH sign over 170 businesses to the scheme, all of whom are either based in, or have stores / franchises in the locality.
Chris Garratt, Strategic Marketing Manager at Bang said "The successful launch of the Excel Discount Card is a major breakthrough for the housing sector".
"Going local with incentives means that the scheme is more than just a means of meeting Key Lines of Enquiry and ticking boxes. KNH's 20,000 eligible residents will genuinely benefit from the Excel scheme, and the card's savings and offers will be a major incentive for ineligible residents to refrain from breaching tenancy."
KNH's brave approach was formally recognised at the campaign launch, where over 150 businesses, residents and staff listened to glowing praise from a series of high profile local speakers.
Bang's campaign included direct mail, advertising and field marketing, all of which contributed greatly to the scheme's early success.
