Sheffield Homes- open the doors to success for a second year
The new campaign encouraged Sheffield's tenants to clear their debts. Some neat thinking offered them a helping hand to pay rent with a cleverly thought out strategy.
It employed the same tactics as last year's ‘Kiss Your Debt Goodbye' campaign, which allowed tenants and residents to use their rent free weeks to catch up with their arrears. It tackled the issue head on and provided tenants with the ability to make their own, informed choices about rent payments. It was an enticing and refreshing balance between ‘the carrot and the stick'.
Figures showed Bang's innovative approach achieved real results. This carefully considered marketing strategy tackled rent arrears using digital direct marketing which featured personalised creative. It proved to be a powerful technique which provided clear and simple instructions for tenants and residents which offered an exciting solution just when tenants needed help most. This great strategy which achieved outstanding results was mirrored in the Summer 2008 campaign for the Riverside.
Chris Garratt, Marketing Director at Bang said, "The Kiss Your Debts Goodbye campaign is a strong example of how this sector is benefiting from embracing creative and innovative solutions to combat traditional issues."
"We're proud to have worked on a number of extremely successful campaigns aimed at reduced rent arrears over the years, and delighted that this campaign can now be added to that list."
Such success boosted Bang's profile within the sector and immediately attracted the attention of several major Housing Groups. The many benefits of such a concept remain incredibly transparent and offered tenants a well needed lifeline too.
