Social Housing Campaign Generates £1M for Sheffield Housing
Figures from the Kiss Your Debts Goodbye campaign encouraged tenants and residents to use their rent free week to clear their arrears.
Creative visuals with clear and easy-to-follow messages were displayed on bus sides in target communities, and on flyers, posters and direct mailers in the run-up to the festive period.
Beth Simpson, Communications Officer at Sheffield Homes said "Changes in our rent recovery system meant we'd forecast rent arrears to be higher than in previous years".
"With Bang's support our campaign helped us collect over £1M of rent arrears over the Christmas 2007 period, this surpassed all expectations."
