Sheffield Homes is an organisation set up and owned by Sheffield City Council to manage council housing in Sheffield. It is the UK's largest ALMO (Arms Length Management Organisation).

In 2006 the Audit Commission had assessed Sheffield Homes as ‘providing and excellent 3 star service with promising prospects for further improvement'. By September 2007, 19,670 properties (60.3% of their stock) had met the Decent Homes Standard.

In the last quarter of 2007, Bang was commissioned by the organisation to develop a campaign urging tenants to clear or significantly reduce rent arrears in the traditional 2 week rent free period.

The campaign which features a customer under a sprig of mistletoe, with the slogan ‘Kiss your debts goodbye this Christmas' was rolled out over the holiday period and featured on bus sides, leaflets inserted in with tenant bills, posters website banners and radio. The campaign also urged customers who are in financial difficulties to get in touch with Sheffield Homes to discuss a realistic payment plan.
