Thames Valley Housing

Sample of Anti-Social Behaviour literature

Thames Valley Housing was set up in 1966. It has maintained a successful record of growth and innovation that has been firmly based around the principles of 'Consultation' and 'Partnership'. It became Thames Valley Housing Association in 1991 and now manages over 4,000 rented properties and 3,000 shared ownership properties in London and the Thames Valley basin.

Having worked on a number of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) campaigns for Police forces and Safer Communities partnerships in the past, Bang was the ideal choice to devise a campaign for Thames Valley Housing to help tackle Anti-Social Behaviour within its communities.

Bang worked alongside partner organisations including local authorities and the Police to help devise and implement a campaign that covered 3 key objectives:

  • The responsibilities and expectations of tenants and residents.
  • Reporting ASB.
  • Preventing ASB.

The campaign was rolled out to tenants in the form of printed literature and an 'incident diary' for tenants to record repeated cases of ASB.

Director Matt Skelland commented, "With Bang having worked on ASB and social housing sector campaigns before, we were able to add real value and insight to the campaign. ASB is not something Thames Valley Housing takes lightly, and ensuring that victims have outlets to report incidents in strict confidence is a high priority".
