Bang were commissioned by Kirklees Council to provide marketing assistance and collateral for two flagship redevelopment projects in Huddersfield, St George's Square and the Queensgate Revival.
St George's Square has become an integral part of what John Betjemen once described as ‘the most splendid station facade in England'. The square, complete with the strolling statue of Howard Wilson, has become synonymous with Huddersfield and is the impressive sight that first greets many of the town's visitors.
The Queensgate Revival consultation sought to gain opinions over proposed development plans for the town's large indoor market, library, art gallery and piazza shopping area.
Aware of potential reservations from some residents, elected members and senior council officials wanted to communicate their plans clearly and effectively. Bang were appointed to produce the collateral required for such a high-profile communications campaign.
Bang's refreshing and instantly accessible solution aimed to put residents at the heart of the process and engage them in meaningful consultation.
Bang produced a suite of marketing collateral to assist with the consultations, including a bespoke mobile marketing suite, voting booths, two 12-page consultation brochures, comment cards and awareness raising advertising materials.
