Bang were commissioned by the Kirklees Safer Communities Partnership to provide marketing support for their Domestic Burglary Campaign.
Bang were commissioned by the Kirklees Safer Communities Partnership to help lower burglary rates, which at the time were soaring across the district.
The campaign tied marketing together with a series of interventions in a attempt to reach ambitious Local Public Service Agreement (LPSA) targets.
The campaign offered rewards for information about burglars through an alliance with Crime Stoppers. Identified as a predominately male issue, high profile sports teams and personnel were drafted in to help target the campaign and raise its profile.
Most notably, the F.A. showed their support by allowing Howard Webb (Premiership Referee) to become the face of the campaign.
Simon Massey, KSCP Manager "Bang have developed marketing campaigns with us on many occasions and the quality of work has always been second to none. We have strict targets within the Partnership, but with Bang's work, I am confident that we'll hit them.
Bang's burglary campaign helped reduce incidents by 35% and similarly in the areas targeted by the vehicle crime campaign, figures fell by up to 81%. More recently, Bang have rebranded the service in order to raise our profile with both partners and residents."
